Marching Band Season is Over!!!

Picture
Zeis Photography LLC has been at a number of marching band invitationals again this year. As marching band veterans of 15 yrs ourselves, we strive to get the best action shots possible all without interfering with the performance. We hire photographers that have either been in band or have a long history in action photography.

How do you get Zeis Photography to come to your event next year? Leave a message through the 'Contact Us' page and we'll get back to you to schedule it!

Q: How do we arrange for Zeis Photography LLC to photograph our event?
A: Use the Contact Us  page to send us the information about your event, along with the scheduled date and we will contact you by phone. This is true for any event - baseball, football, cheerleading, etc.

Q: Image(s) don't look very clear/dark/too light etc on my monitor. How do I know the printed image will look good?
A: I personally check each image before I place them on line. I occassionally miss a few. Let's face it, I review a minimum of 4,000 and a max of 12,000 photos per an event like a marching band competition so I may miss a few. If I feel the photo is not really of the quality I demand, I'll call you and ask if you really want me to print the image.
Next, it could be your monitor. I calibrate my monitors every week or so to insure that what I print is as correct as possible.

Q: How do you get so many students in action on the field?
A: Zeis Photography usually has multiple photographers on the sidelines. We try our best to get as many, if not all, students. Times when it becomes difficult is when the particular group, let's say percussion, spends most of it's time on the far side of the field we will occassionally miss someone. Sometimes the band may spend a lot of time facing away from the crowd, then all we get are the backsides of students. So we turn to the color guard because they are doing hopefully an interesting routine.
